B2B Internet Marketing Google Digital Unlocked Digitalization of Business

These days, Google seems to have its hand in every aspect and facet of the internet. While Google previously did not have anything to do with social networking, they are now building a presence in the social networking arena as well. Soon, google social networking will be the standard for social networking. Google has become the standard for many things, including searching through search engines, paid advertising, e-mail, calendar, and even web applications and documents.

Alternative To Social Networking Google Social Networking

We all know that social networking websites are beginning to take over the world, at least online. The big social networking websites like Facebook and MySpace are excellent places where people can connect to other people and even market their companies and reach new customers.

There are millions of people using these social networking sites, and businesses are beginning to use them. Leveraging a social networking site to its fullest potential is a great way for a business to reach out to new target markets and garner larger customer bases.

When you thought that the community networking thing might have completely reached its maximum threshold, Google social networking shows up at the party with a completely new project.

Google has shown up at the party with a social networking site of its very own, known as Orkut. Orkut may be a strange word, but it appears to be a serious contender when it comes to comparing Orkut to other social network websites on the internet

Orkut has already gained a serious amount of popularity in Latin America and Asia. Now it is beginning to make a splash in the United States as well. Google social networking is trying to become a very large giant online, and dominating the social networking market is one way to achieve this.

They want their piece of a pie that MySpace and Facebook have been capitalizing on for a good long time. The following behind Orkut in China and Japan alone has tripled over the past year to include more than 11 million visitors in a single month.

Time will have to tell when it comes to whether or not Google’s Orkut will get as big as the other social networking giants like Facebook and MySpace in the United States. What is known is that Google does have a good idea of what they are doing, and they have proven themselves to be strong players in a lot of very large markets.

Suppose Google can figure out how to offer more than what the other social networking sites are offering. In that case, they can certainly get in on the action that these other social networking sites are already capitalizing on.

If you are not already using Orkut by Google, log into your Google account today and check it out. You are already halfway through the registration process if you have a Gmail account or another account with Google, so jump online and start putting your profile together today for Google Social Networking.

Google Adwords Tips - Learn Before DIY

One of the best Google AdWords tips I can give you is not to consider this a do-it-yourself type of traffic tool. Adwords has many elements to it, and if you want to make more money than you spend, you will need to find someone, or some course, to teach you how to get the most out of it.

Pay Per Click (PPC) can work exceptionally well at getting hordes of very targeted traffic to your website virtually instantly. Of course, you may be asking, if it’s so good, why doesn’t everyone use it?

That is the crux of the matter. PPC is not an easy thing to learn how to do. It will take time, and you need to be willing to invest the time and the money. You will need to carefully test and track various elements of each ad that you place. At the start, you will spend way more money than you will earn.

Another challenge is that Google isn’t worried too much about you or your advertising budget; they are more concerned that their searchers get what they are looking for. The searchers on any of the search engines are the real customers, and if they don’t find what they want, they’ll go elsewhere. That is why Google wants to make sure to keep them happy by providing them with just what they’re looking for.

To do this, Google will periodically change the way they do things. They will rewrite an algorithm or make other changes, and if you’re not right on top of those changes, you can find that the ad that once made you a lot of money is now costing you a lot of money.

Here are a few tips that you can use to optimize your PPC campaigns:

  • 1. Find a course or a mentor who can teach you the ins and outs of PPC advertising. If you try to jump in and figure it all out on your own, you had better make sure you have a lot of time and very deep pockets.
  • 2. Carefully choose the keywords you use. Don’t even try to compete for the one or two-word keywords since they will almost always have so much competition you’ll be spending way too much per click. Instead, focus on the keyword phrases that have 3, 4, or 5 words in them. These ‘long tailed keywords’ can fly under the radar yet still get you decent click-through rates (CTR’s).
  • 3. Always test your ads. You can do this by having several versions of each ad running at the same time. Find out which headlines get the most clicks, which body text gets the most clicks, etc. Keep testing until you’ve got a winning ad. When testing, make sure you only change one element at a time; otherwise, you won’t know which change made the difference.

Out of all the Google Adwords tips I can give you, I think the most important is finding someone to show you the ropes. PPC is effective if you know how to do it right, but if not, it can very quickly become a money pit.

Google Keyword List

Assembling a Google keyword list is easy. All you have to do is use the Google AdWords Keyword Tool to find specific, relevant keywords related to the product or service you are offering for purchase. A well-defined keyword list will differentiate between you being a successful business person and an unsuccessful business person.

When you are doing your keyword research, think as your customers would. Ask yourself what words would the people looking for my business use when they type into the search bar and use those words to generate a related alternative Google keyword list.

If you have a hard time with this, at the next family gathering, ask everyone to write some words that relate to your business down on some slips of paper and use those suggestions to plug into the keyword tool.

If you dig deep enough, you may just hit on a little gold nugget that will turn your business into a huge gold mine.

Also, reread all the content on your website and try to pinpoint one or two keyword phrases or long-tailed keywords to use as well. Keyword phrases can help you get that much more specific in your niche marketing so that you may find you have very little competition.

Everyone needs some competition, so you basically have a bidding war going on between you and drive the CPC up just a little bit. Not too much though, you do not want to go bankrupt on your very first PPC campaign.

However, you do want enough keyword usage in your ad and the content on your website to rank high in the search engine results pages. The higher you rank, the more click-throughs you will get, and that means more sales.

Not everyone will buy something when they go to your website, they may visit for a while, and then when they are ready, they may come back to you to get what they need. Who knows, maybe they bookmarked your site and will tell someone else about it, and they will come and buy something from you.

Depending on the time of year or the product or service you are selling, you may want to target a certain area or region and use the name of that area or region in your keyword phrase or long-tailed keyword. The search engines would love you even more.

Be careful that you are up-to-date on the most recent changes that Google has made about the originality of the content you must have on your website. Suppose the content you place on your website is not uniquely yours and does not cite some study or other expert or professional resource. In that case, Google’s human reviewers will not rate you “vital” or “relevant,” and you run the risk of being rejected.

Start with a well-researched Google keyword list and go from there. Just be sure you are adhering to all the new rules so you can get and stay profitable.
