Network marketing has been around for several decades, but social network marketing is relatively new. Regardless of how old or new each one is, they are an effective way to make money if you know how to use them properly.

Social Network Marketing – New To Network Marketing

Let’s start by defining ‘network marketing’ and ‘social network’ so we are on the same page as we move forward.

Network marketing is a business model where you share the product and business with prospects, and you earn more income based upon the size of your active group. This model has several variations, and many of them can also be defined as multi-level marketing, though they are not completely synonymous.

‘Social network’ refers to the group of people you know and share things with, but in the online world, this network extends to the networks of all of the people you know, and all of the people they know, and so on. It’s easy to see how quickly you can expand your reach by using online social networking sites.

Put it all together, and you get social network marketing, which is one of the most exciting marketing methods to come along in quite some time. Why is this so? The best way to answer that is with a question: have you ever watched a movie based on the recommendation of a friend? Almost everybody has, and that’s where the beauty of social network marketing lies.

What we’re getting at is that people tend to have a distrust of advertisers, but they tend to trust their friends. Social network marketing gives you the chance to get people to recommend your products and services on your behalf. So, while you get the ball rolling by giving people something to share, the goal is to get them to take over the spreading of your message. It works even better because people trust the recommendations of their friends more than they trust a marketing message from a business.

Things get a bit tricky here, and it will require some top-notch marketing know-how. The big secret is to write your social network marketing messages in a way that sounds natural and not like an actual marketing message. When you do it right, you can quickly grow the size of your network marketing business. Not only will you grow your business, but you will also be reaching prospects that are “warm” because they will be introduced to your offer by a friend of theirs.

As you can see, social networking sites and network marketing are a perfect match. It’s the kind of union waiting to be harnessed by anybody who can see the bigger picture and is ready to make the most of it. Social network marketing takes a bit of finesse, but it is fairly easy to do. However, reading about it won’t do any good at all; instead, you need to take action and start making it happen.

Social Network Marketing Give Yourself A Boost

Social network marketing can give your marketing efforts a big boost and help you achieve the success you want not only quicker but more efficiently. Social networks are communities online that have mutual interests or interests. It is a “place” online where people gather to communicate and learn about things in common.

It gives them the capability to interact with each other. This can be through blogs, email and instant messaging, forums, and any number of online means of communication. Because of the way these networks develop, it often presents some great network marketing opportunities.

To get the most out of social network marketing potential, you have to be active in the community. The people have to see you as one of them and not someone trying to use them or sell them (even though that may be exactly what you want to do).

These people will often listen to each other, especially those who have been around a long time and have a solid reputation in the community. Some are knowledgeable about the subject and gain a large amount of credibility because of it. If you can establish credibility, you can often have your opinion carry weight.

There are some things that social network marketing can do for you. The most obvious is that it gives you a larger market if interested and potential customers. If this is all you are shooting for, though, you are missing out. There are a few ways that social network marketing can benefit you.

One thing that social network marketing does is help you with your research. It is a very cost-effective means of finding out what your target market is interested in. You can find out their true needs, who these people are, what they are drawn to, what they look for, and pretty much anything else you could want.

It is a good way to throw ideas out and see what they think about them. You can find buying behaviors and what they have bought in the past. You will find out what they like and don’t like and even what marketing tactics appeal to them.

Social network marketing can also help increase brand awareness. You will have to try not to sound like you are selling something. Much of the time, this will turn people off.

If you see a discussion going on about a certain thing that you think you have a solution for, tell them about your experiences and ask them if they have ever heard of it; try to create product awareness and subtly provide a link to somewhere they can find more about it (your site).

The greatest thing about it, though, is that it is a very cost-effective means of communicating and interacting with your target market. Most networks are free, and it only takes a little bit of time to keep interacting with the network members once you have gotten established.

From there, the growth is somewhat natural. As communities grow, so does the amount of exposure you get. The more exposure you get with social network marketing, the more success you will have.

Social Media Marketing Video 5 Tips To Success

Getting website visitors is your main job when building an online business. With the internet, there is no such thing as stagnant. Things are always changing, improving, and evolving. Combining video with social media will help you get a leg up on the competition. Using social media marketing videos is great, but how do you do it?

Here are a few basic concepts to keep in mind when you are planning and implementing your strategy:

  • 1. The videos you make have to be high quality, but what does that mean? Well, it doesn’t mean that you have to hire actors or pay thousands of dollars for the state-of-the-art effects. It means that the audio and video are clear and that the information is presented in an easy-to-understand format.
  • 2. Keep your videos fairly short. The average is less than 5 minutes. If you provide some educational video, you don’t have to adhere to this rule strictly.
  • 3. Outline the points you want to cover before you start recording audio for your video. The last thing you want to do is be a stammering fool. If you listen to your video and you find the word spoken the most often is ‘um,’ you really should re-do it.

I know that is a hassle and takes time, but if your video is filled with pauses or stuttering, people will lose patience and click away. If no one watches your video, you will have wasted your time anyway. Do it right, or don’t do it at all.

  • 4. Remember that success is not only about quality but quantity as well. You need to submit videos regularly. One great technique for doing that is to create a video series. You make a ‘how to’ video on whatever subject relates to your niche, but instead of covering all the information in one video, you break it down into smaller segments and create multiple videos. This will encourage your visitors to come back.
  • 5. When you submit your videos, there are some rules to follow too. For one thing, make sure that you include keywords in your title, description, and tags. This will help your video stand out and get noticed.

Also, while it’s important to have your video submitted to many places, you want to make sure that it’s only submitted to quality sites. You don’t want your dog training video to show up on an adult site. That won’t help your credibility.

Submitting your video to 20 -30 top-quality sites is better than blindly submitting it to 100 less desirable sites.

When it comes to getting the most out of your social media marketing video efforts, you’ll, of course, want to start with the ‘big ones such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. After that, you can add to some smaller yet still high-quality sites to make your video work as hard for you as possible.
